Since then, he has been interested in fusing electronic music with rock guitars. He has been mixing, as a DJ,since 2004, and seeks to develop performances, where he can mix, and play guitar at the same time.
Biography
JORGE ALFONSO "GEORGE" LARA, is a Colombian musician, artist,
composer, producer, instructor, interviewer, actor, entrepreneur, and DJ.
He plays Rock and Metal guitar, and mixes House, Dance, Trance, Disco,
Nu Disco, Funk, Groove, Electronica, Pop, Minimal, Rock, Indie, Fusion,
and Techno. He also makes computer music sequences, seeking to fuse
the aforementioned genres.
He has been playing guitar since he was 14, and graduated in Fine Arts and Music, with Graduate Studies in Multimedia Design, from the Andes University in Bogota. He also graduated as an actor from the Barajas Academy of Dramatic Arts, and has had some roles in theater, and television.
He was the guitarist of Rock and Metal bands, such as Gibraltar, Pitbull, Rosa Negra, Sahidet, Punto Neutro, and the Latin Pop-Rock band EFECTO DOMINÓ. With EFECTO DOMINÓ he released, as a guitarist, composer, and executive producer, the albums ALGÚN DÍA, and LA RULETA DEL AMOR. Along with these albums, he released the music videos of the songs ALGÚN DÍA (from the album of the same title), and SI PUDIERA TENERLA (from the album LA RULETA DEL AMOR). These videos had high rotation on Canal 13, on the Play TV section, and they can be seen nowdays on YouTube. He retired from the band in early 2008, and works as a music instructor.

As a featured artist, he performs live with the Andean Electro Pop singer, and composer VIVI GUERRERO. Together, along with her bandamates, they won the Rocking Smoking Festival contest, held at Smoking Molly in Bogotá, Colombia, where they live.
